Xing Qing Rong Ji - XQRJ

Went to watch XQRJ yesterday nite at UCC . It was a great evening of music and i can see my galfren very happy the whole night . It was her dream to one day be there as a contestant .

The guest performance was good too , but Chua Beelian and Joi Chua sang the same songs at the Fajar concert, heard it b4 there already.

Some contestants were over showy and that where they fail. They brougth in bands and jam up the concert and so much that their very own singing voice was hardly could be heard. They behaved like stars wannabe .... but the thing is if their voice could not even be heard within the band , how to compete? Music is really not the case for bringing in all what u can find and put them togather. Why bring in the band , the Electic guitar when a simple piano or a simple fork guitar does the job.

Anyway , the winner and the runner was good , very much better , at least u get u heard their song and not the band. The winner played just a simple piano and captivated everyone. The runner up play a folk guitar and simple and fast pace song to win 4 awards in total.

So the moral of the story is - KISS- Keep it Simple.

Anyway , had a great evening ... the only down side was .... my neck .....
